Strength, Chivalry, Honor Sir Lancelot du Lac was raised in the faerie otherworld to surpass all other men. Bold in confrontation, but gentle and sweet in love, he used his strength and wit to defeat evil; he stood fast as protector of the people and champion of his lady. The Knight represents chivalry, courage, prowess, and duty; the victory of wit over brute strength, the loyalty of love and honor over hatred and mistrust. Aspiration to these knightly virtues is a noble calling. Each piece is individually packaged in a velvet-like box with a card describing the symbolism of the design.
